US Stocks Rally to Close Out September on Strong Note
U.S. stocks closed out September on a high note, with all three major indexes opening higher on September 30.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.11%, while the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 climbed 0.46% and 0.3%, respectively.
Large-cap tech stocks led the charge, with Apple up nearly 3% and Intel, Google, and Amazon each gaining more than 2%.
Popular China-listed stocks also traded higher, including Li Auto, which surged over 3%, and XPeng, Kingsoft Cloud, and Xunlei, all of which rose over 2%.
In the semiconductor sector, Intel rose over 2%, while Marvell Technology and Western Digital fell more than 1%.
