US Stocks Soar as Tech and Finance Lead Gains

U.S. stocks closed higher on Thursday, driven by gains in the technology and finance sectors.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.18%, with Goldman Sachs Group Inc leading the charge at 3.34% or 33.51 points to $1,037.93.

The S&P 500 also saw significant increases, led by Palantir Technologies Inc's 7.71% jump to $182.53, while Principal Financial Group Inc reached all-time highs with a 7.28% gain to $118.51.

In the NASDAQ Composite, Tantech Holdings Ltd surged 66.94% to $0.38, and Sunpower Inc rose 58.21% to $0.40.
