US Team Announced for Presidents Cup: Experience Meets Youth
The United States team for the Presidents Cup has been announced, and it's a mix of experienced players and young talent. The tournament will take place at Medinah Country Club in Illinois, starting on Thursday.
Wyndham Clark, who won the U.S. Open this year, is one of the top players on the team. He was the winner no one wanted against Scottie Scheffler in the U.S. Open and Rory McIlroy in the BMW Championship. At least now he's on the U.S. team on U.S. soil.
Scottie Scheffler, the world number one, is also part of the team. He won three tournaments this year, including the American Express, FedEx St. Jude Championship, and Tour Championship. However, his overall cup record is 6-11-4.
Cameron Young, who made his U.S. team debut at the Presidents Cup in 2022, will also be competing. He was an American bright spot at the Ryder Cup last September.
