Greg Lui, a 38-year-old tech CEO from California, has been arrested and charged by the US Department of Justice for his alleged involvement in a $300 million scheme to export high-end computer servers containing advanced US-made GPUs to China through Malaysia and Singapore.

The indictment alleges that Lui, also known as Yiu Kong Lui, purchased export-controlled servers in the US and sent them to countries such as Malaysia and Singapore before re-exporting them to China without obtaining the required licenses. The equipment contained Nvidia GPUs used for advanced computing and Super Intelligence applications.

According to the indictment, Lui and his co-conspirators provided false documentation to US manufacturers, misrepresenting the intended end users and destinations of the servers. They allegedly transported the servers from the US to Malaysia and Singapore, where they were then shipped onward to China.
