USAA Launches Credit Cards with Flexible Rewards for Everyday Expenses
Americans are increasingly using credit card rewards to cover everyday expenses, not just luxury vacations. According to a recent survey by USAA Bank, nearly one-third (36%) of consumers redeem their rewards for essentials like groceries and gas, which is comparable to the number who save them for travel and other major purchases.
USAA Bank has launched a new suite of credit cards designed to help military families manage their household budgets. The Eagle Ascend American Express Credit Card offers 2% cash back on eligible spend categories, including gas stations and groceries, as well as an automatic late-fee waiver every 12 months.
The Eagle Adapt Visa Credit Card is geared towards more established cardholders, offering 3% cash back on the first $3,000 in combined quarterly purchases across everyday spending categories. This card also features a strong 0% APR offer and unlimited 1% cash back on other purchases.
USAA Bank's Cashback Rewards Plus American Express Credit Card has been refreshed with enhanced rewards tailored to military households, including 5% cash back on military base purchases and gas stations.
