Vadilal Taps Consumer Brand Veteran as International CEO

Ram Gopalakrishnan has been appointed as the CEO of Vadilal's international business, leading the company's expansion into global markets. With a career spanning nearly two decades in building consumer brands in the US, Gopalakrishnan brings his Indian roots and experience to the role.

Gopalakrishnan joins Vadilal after holding senior marketing, growth, digital commerce, and general management roles at companies like Procter & Gamble, The Clorox Company, and Nestlé. He previously served as chief growth officer at Ethos Pet Brands between June and August 2026.

Gopalakrishnan noted that Vadilal's strong connection with Indian consumers and its growing international footprint were key attractions to the role. He expressed his excitement about helping build a global ice cream brand originating from India, highlighting the commitment he has seen in his first few weeks with the international team.
