Vadilal Taps US-Experienced Gopalakrishnan for CEO Role

Ram Gopalakrishnan has been appointed as the new CEO of Vadilal International, marking his return to India after nearly two decades working for global consumer companies in the US.

Gopalakrishnan, who brings over two decades of experience from Procter & Gamble (P&G), Clorox, and Nestlé, said he was drawn to Vadilal due to its strong consumer connection and people behind it.

The company has a nearly 120-year history as one of India's well-known ice cream brands, with a growing international footprint.

Gopalakrishnan emphasized his focus on building a 'global, world-class ice cream brand of Indian origin', working closely with Vadilal's international team spread across the globe.
