Valeo Stock Edges Higher on Reduced Goldman Stake and Growing Demand for Waveguide Antennas
The stock of French auto supplier Valeo has seen renewed interest ahead of fresh corporate developments. On September 15, 2026, its shares closed at EUR 14.36 on Euronext Paris, marking a 0.95% gain compared to the previous close.
This development follows Goldman Sachs Group's notification to the French regulator AMF that it had crossed below the 5 percent threshold of Valeo voting rights on September 8, 2026. This change in stake was due to an off-market share sale by Goldman Sachs, which now indirectly holds 13,556,075 Valeo shares.
The stake reduction is significant as it lowers the influence of Goldman Sachs in future shareholder votes at Valeo. However, the group still retains more than 5.5% of the capital and has double voting rights attached to its holdings, amplifying its influence beyond its share of the capital.
Meanwhile, a recent order from Swedish antenna specialist Gapwaves for production equipment dedicated to high-volume manufacturing of waveguide antennas for Valeo's program is expected to support the company's growth in advanced driver-assistance technology. The order aims to expand capacity for these antennas and prepare Valeo for higher volumes in radar and driver-assistance systems.
