ValueJet Embarks on Fleet Expansion with Arrival of First Boeing 737NG
Nigerian carrier ValueJet has marked the beginning of its next phase of growth by taking delivery of its first Boeing 737NG aircraft. The plane, registration number 5N-CFZ, is the first of three Boeing aircraft that will join the airline's fleet over the coming months.
The arrival of the Boeing 737NG marks a significant milestone for ValueJet as it transitions from operating CRJ regional jets to narrow-body operations. The new aircraft offers greater range and increased cargo capacity, allowing the airline to serve high-demand routes more efficiently.
ValueJet Managing Director Omololu Majekodunmi described the arrival of the Boeing 737NG as the beginning of a new chapter for the airline. He stated that the transition is supported by continued investment in manpower development and technical capability to ensure the airline's safe, reliable, and customer-focused operations.
