ValueJet Expands Fleet with Boeing 737NG Operations
Nigerian airline ValueJet is marking its fourth anniversary by expanding its fleet and network. The carrier will begin passenger operations of its Boeing 737NG aircraft on Monday, October 5.
The first aircraft to enter service, registered as 5N-CFZ, will operate on routes from Lagos to Abuja and Port Harcourt. ValueJet is adding three Boeing 737NG jets to its fleet, with two more expected to join in the coming months.
'Four years ago, our objective was to build a safe, reliable and customer-focused airline, and that has not changed,' said Omololu Majekodunmi, Managing Director of ValueJet. 'Monday's flight is the first step in a new phase of growth.'
