ValueJet Unveils First Boeing 737NG Aircraft Ahead of West African Expansion
Nigerian airline ValueJet is set to deploy its first Boeing 737NG aircraft on commercial passenger operations on Monday, October 5. The inaugural flight will be from Lagos to Abuja and Port Harcourt.
The deployment of the aircraft marks a new phase in the airline's development, according to Managing Director Omololu Majekodunmi.
'Four years ago, our objective was to build a safe, reliable and customer-focused airline, and that has not changed,' Majekodunmi said. 'Monday's flight is the first step in a new phase of growth.'
The airline currently operates services connecting Nigerian cities with Accra, Banjul, Cotonou and Monrovia.
