Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Co, a Finnish pension insurance provider, invested $17.15 million in The Travelers Companies, Inc.

In its latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Varma purchased 51,947 shares of TRV stock during the second quarter, valued at approximately $17,149,000.

This investment is part of a larger trend, as institutional investors have been increasing their stakes in The Travelers Companies. BlackRock Inc., for example, acquired a new stake in TRV worth around $6.915 billion.
