Venezuela Agreements Near Completion for Chevron, GE Vernova, and Other Energy Majors

Energy majors Chevron and GE Vernova are reportedly on track to finalize agreements in Venezuela after months of negotiations. According to sources, this could happen as early as this week.

The agreements involve companies such as ONGC from India, Eni from Italy, and GeoPark from Colombia, all working on energy projects in the country.

These deals are separate from a recent pact between Venezuela and the United States, which aimed to secure US investments in 17 oilfields with 64 billion barrels of proved reserves.
