Verity Law Chambers Launched with Focus on AI Governance and Employment Law
Kapil Chaudhary and Sushmita Chaudhary have launched Verity Law Chambers, an independent law firm that advises Boards, General Counsel, and founders across various industries. The firm focuses on Indian employment and labour law, corporate governance, commercial litigation, and AI governance.
Kapil Chaudhary has over 26 years of experience in senior in-house roles at companies like IBM, Twitter, and Info Edge (India) Limited. He has also served as a Partner in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Data Privacy practice at Dentons Link Legal. Sushmita Chaudhary has been practicing law since 2002 and has advised multinational and Indian employers on employment and labour law.
The co-founders stated that Verity Law Chambers aims to provide trusted legal advice that is both nimble and rigorous. They believe that law can be a powerful tool for eradicating poverty and expanding opportunity, and their goal is to contribute to India's vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047.
