Veteran and Business Owner George Wayne Belleau Passes Away at Age 85

George Wayne Belleau, affectionately known as 'Wayne', passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in Salem, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Pauline (Sewall) and George L. Belleau. Wayne's educational background began with his graduation from St. John's Prep in Danvers, MA, class of 1958.

Following his education, Wayne entered into the Air Force in August 1958, serving until March 1962. After his time in the military, he worked at Honeywell Corporation before venturing into business ownership with Accurate Hearing Aids in Wareham, MA.

Throughout his life, Wayne was surrounded by loved ones. For 61 years, he was married to R. Elaine (Knowles) Belleau. He is also remembered as a devoted father of Suzanne Martin and Wayne M. Belleau, and an adored grandfather of Emily Belleau and Kara Martin.

Wayne's legacy extends beyond his family, with a brotherly bond shared among siblings Sandy Walor, Judy Marzerka, and David Belleau. In lieu of services at this time, remembrances in his memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers T2T.org.
