Veteran Arthur Pendleton Jr. Dies at Age 85 in Beacon, New York
Arthur Pendleton Jr., an 85-year-old lifelong resident of Beacon, New York, passed away on September 17, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1959 to 1963.
Pendleton's career spanned over two decades with IBM in East Fishkill, where he worked until his retirement. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he had a lifelong passion for sports, particularly baseball.
He not only coached his children's baseball teams but also went on to coach college softball teams. Pendleton was an avid fan of the New York Mets and New York Giants.
