Vi Business and Cisco Meraki team up to upgrade hybrid SD-WAN solution

Vi Business, the enterprise arm of Vodafone Idea, has announced a partnership with Cisco Meraki to enhance its hybrid SD-WAN offering. The collaboration aims to simplify network management for enterprises by integrating Meraki's dashboard capabilities into Vi Business's existing hybrid SD-WAN solution, which was first launched in 2023. The solution allows businesses to modernize their WAN infrastructure through managed services that support various connectivity options, including leased lines, broadband, and cellular networks.

The addition of Meraki introduces a unified dashboard that enables customers to manage their SD-WAN using application- and performance-aware routing, security, and built-in Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. This integration results in a fully managed hybrid SD-WAN service with proactive monitoring, lifecycle management, and a unified service experience, all backed by Vi’s nationwide connectivity.

M P Sunil Kumar, chief enterprise business officer at Vodafone Idea, emphasized that the collaboration with Cisco allows enterprises to centrally manage distributed networks while simplifying operations. He highlighted that the partnership ensures clients can build resilient, scalable, and future-ready networks.

Ashok Shivashankar, partner organization MD for Cisco India & South Asia, noted that modern enterprise networks must be intelligent, secure, and adaptable. He stated that the managed hybrid SD-WAN solution with Vi Business enables greater agility, scalability, and operational efficiency, accelerating digital transformation for enterprises.
