Visa Chrome Appoints Steel Industry Veteran Anutosh Maitra as Independent Director

Visa Chrome Limited has appointed Anutosh Maitra as an Additional Director (Non-Executive and Independent) on September 29, 2026. This appointment is effective for a three-year term until September 28, 2029.

Maitra brings over 44 years of experience in the steel industry, with 37 years at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). His tenure included senior leadership roles such as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bokaro Steel Plant.

The appointment is subject to approval by shareholders at the next general meeting. The board composition now benefits from direct insights into production efficiency and capital expenditure management, areas critical for steel manufacturers.
