Visa expands NFL partnerships to 13 teams with new deals
Visa Inc. has significantly expanded its presence in the NFL by adding seven new team partnerships and renewing agreements with four others. The company now collaborates with a total of 13 franchises, including new deals with the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and Philadelphia Eagles. Visa has also extended its relationships with the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Pittsburgh Steelers, while maintaining existing ties with the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens.
The partnerships will encompass a range of fan experiences, from game-day activities to community programs and client activations. Visa aims to engage NFL fans through various commerce moments, such as travel, ticketing, dining, merchandise, and entertainment transactions during the football season. Frank Cooper III, Chief Marketing Officer at Visa, emphasized the company's goal to create meaningful participation rather than just visibility, aligning with its broader strategy to connect with consumers through sports.
Additional activations, experiences, and programs are expected to be announced leading up to the 2026 season. Visa's payment network facilitates transactions globally, supporting its strategy to engage consumers in local markets through major sporting events, including the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the FIFA World Cup, and Red Bull Racing.
