Visa's stock has held onto its gains after delivering a strong second quarter in fiscal 2026. The payments group reported a net revenue increase of 17% year-over-year to $11.2 billion, with earnings per share up 20% compared to the prior-year quarter.

The company also raised its full-year guidance for both net revenue and earnings. Adjusted EPS growth is now expected in the low teens range for fiscal 2026, reflecting confidence that double-digit earnings expansion can be sustained as transaction volumes and value-added services scale.

Visa's management attributed the net revenue outperformance to higher-than-expected volatility, stronger value-added services revenue, and lower incentives. The company also noted that acquisitions are expected to add around 1 point to net revenue growth and 0.5 points to EPS growth for the fiscal year.
