Visa Reveals Stablecoin Adoption Surge Across Business and Commercial Payments
Visa has released new data on stablecoin adoption in business and commercial payments. According to the company, approximately 17% of stablecoin-linked card volume in fiscal year 2026 occurred across business and commercial card programs. This represents a significant increase from previous years, with payments volume across these programs up nearly 200% year over year.
Visa supports more than 160 stablecoin-linked card programs spanning consumer, business, and commercial activity. The company sees potential for growth in areas such as settlement, treasury management, payouts, and cross-border commerce. Despite the promising numbers, Visa's stock price remained relatively stable, trading at EUR 320.58 on October 3, 2026.
