Visy Logistics Teams Up with CCEP on National Linehaul Transport

Visy Logistics has partnered with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) to handle linehaul transport across selected Australian lanes.

The partnership focuses on 36-pallet B-Double trailer combinations, which can carry around 6% more freight than the traditional 34-pallet setup.

This added capacity is expected to improve fleet utilisation and reduce the number of truck movements needed to shift the same volume of freight.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' Director of Logistics, Phillip Parsons, highlighted the importance of having reliable transport partners in their supply chain.

'We make and move some of Australia's most loved drinks every day, so having the right partners across our supply chain really matters,' he said.

Visy Logistics will expand its national linehaul fleet with new Volvo FH600 prime movers and additional 36-pallet B-Double combinations to service the CCEP contract.
