Vitesse Snaps Up Denver-Julesburg Basin Assets for $26M
Vitesse Energy has made a significant move in the oil and gas industry by acquiring non-operated assets from an unnamed seller for $26M. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive on various financial metrics, according to Vitesse.
The acquired assets are primarily located in Weld County, Colorado, and are operated by Chevron. They are projected to produce approximately 900 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/day) over the next 12 months.
Vitesse expects this acquisition to have a positive impact on its earnings, operating cash flow, free cash flow, and net asset value. To mitigate potential risks, the company has entered into commodity derivative contracts covering a significant portion of the acquired production through 2030.
