Voters Fume Over Rising Gas Prices, Blame Trump's Iran War

Voters across the country are expressing frustration and financial hardship over rising gas prices, which have reached $4.48 per gallon nationwide according to AAA.

The national average has increased by 40 cents in a month and $1.27 from last year.

President Donald Trump downplayed the impact of surging gas prices during his campaign in North Carolina, stating 'You have a little higher. It's a very inexpensive price to pay for what we've done.'

However, voters interviewed by AP expressed bipartisan frustration and disappointment with the president's leadership on the economy.

'I don't feel like it's a good trade-off,' said Quinten Martinez, an Amazon delivery driver from South Texas. 'I don't feel like this is good for anyone.'
