Walker & Dunlop Extends JPMorgan Repurchase Facility to September 2027
Walker & Dunlop has secured its funding line for another year by extending the maturity of its master repurchase facility with JPMorgan Chase. The company's agreement with JPMorgan was originally dated August 26, 2019 and has been amended nine times previously.
The latest amendment extends the termination date from September 10, 2026 to September 9, 2027, removing near-term refinancing risk on this funding line for Walker & Dunlop. The company relies on warehouse and repurchase facilities to fund its multifamily mortgage loans before selling them to agencies such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
The agreement was amended through Amendment No. 9 to the Master Repurchase Agreement, which was entered into on September 9, 2026. This amendment also replaced a Third Amended and Restated Side Letter that sets fees, commitments, and pricing for the facility.
