Stocks on Wall Street experienced a moderate rise, adding to their records as oil prices remained steady. The S&P 500 rose 0.1%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 473 points, or 0.9%. In contrast, the Nasdaq composite fell 0.4%.

The market has been largely driven by strong corporate profits and expectations for continued growth. Three-quarters of the companies within the S&P 500 have reported results so far, with Wall Street expecting a 50% increase in profit growth when all are finished. The Walt Disney Co. rose 3.7% after easily beating profit forecasts, thanks to a $1 billion box office haul from 'Toy Story 5' and theme park revenue.

Booking Holdings also saw significant gains, increasing by 6.5%, as strong travel demand drove profit and revenue growth during its most recent quarter. However, Elon Musk's SpaceX fell 11.9% following the release of its first quarterly report as a public company, which showed sharp increases in spending on artificial intelligence.
