Walmart Undercuts Amazon with Deep Discounts During Prime Day Rival Sale
Walmart is challenging Amazon’s “Prime Big Deal Days” with its own “Deals & More” sale, offering discounts up to 84% off on a wide range of products. Running from October 5 to 11, Walmart’s sale includes electronics, toys, clothing, beauty tools, and home goods, with no membership required to access the deals. Unlike Amazon, which reserves its best discounts for Prime members, Walmart’s offers are open to everyone, though Walmart+ members may receive additional perks like free shipping.
Some standout deals include the Apple AirPods 4 for $80, the lowest price ever, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ in an exclusive silver colorway. Walmart’s in-house brand, onn, also features a portable Bluetooth speaker with LED lighting for under $20, a 55-inch 4K UHD Smart TV for $178, and a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, which is currently hard to find elsewhere. Other notable discounts include the ODREY dash cam with 4K display, a GOOLOO car jump starter, and bone conduction headphones at 84% off.
The sale also extends to everyday items like the HydroJug Traveler water bottle, which is 20% off, and Crocs Adult Baya Clogs, discounted up to 50%. Additionally, Walmart offers a budget-friendly smartwatch alternative, the Mingdaln 1.85” HD Smartwatch, for just $21, a deal not available on Amazon.
Walmart advises shoppers to act quickly, as pricing and availability can change at any time. The retailer’s deep discounts and wide selection make it a compelling alternative to Amazon’s Prime Day event this week.
