Walmart's $60 Streaming Device Just Crushed the Competition

The era of affordable streaming devices has come to an end due to the ongoing global memory shortage. The price hike for popular Android streamers, including the Fire TV Stick and Google TV Streamer, has made them less appealing. In response, a more affordable alternative has emerged: the Onn 4K Pro.

The Onn 4K Pro is essentially Walmart's version of the Google TV Streamer, with similar features such as Google TV (Android), HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision. However, it costs only $60, making it significantly cheaper than its competitors. Despite some hardware compromises, including slower Ethernet speeds and less RAM, the Onn 4K Pro offers a better value compared to the Fire TV Stick 4K Max.

Amazon's recent price hike for the Fire TV Stick has made it even more expensive, with the 4K Max version now costing $85. In contrast, the Onn 4K Pro remains at its original price of $60, making it an attractive option for those looking for a budget-friendly streaming device.
