Walmart's (NASDAQ:WMT) digital transformation continues to gain momentum, with analysts praising its higher-margin growth potential and AI-enabled platform overhaul.
The company reported $187.9 billion in revenue for its second quarter of fiscal 2027, a 5.9% year-over-year increase driven by strong e-commerce and advertising segments.
Membership-fee revenues jumped 17%, while fast delivery in the U.S. grew 48%. However, U.S. comparable sales excluding fuel increased only 2.6% year over year, marking its slowest quarterly pace in six years.
