Walt Disney World Raises Ticket Prices Amid Record Expansion
Walt Disney World has announced a price increase for theme park tickets, annual passes, and Lightning Lane services, effective Thursday. The highest-priced one-day, one-park ticket will reach $229 for Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve in 2027, marking a new peak price. Conversely, the lowest-priced ticket will be $119 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom in August 2027.
Annual pass prices have also seen increases across all four tiers, with the top-tier Incredi-Pass rising by $120, from $1,629 to $1,749. The Lightning Lane Premier Pass ceiling increased by $50, from $449 to $499. There were no changes to the Lightning Lane Multi Pass or theme park parking rates.
Over the past decade, Walt Disney World ticket prices have increased by up to 84%, according to a study from Mickey Visit. The price hikes coincide with the resort’s largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history, which includes new lands themed around Cars, Villains, Monsters, Inc., and a Tropical Americas-inspired area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
