Wellington Management Sells Home Depot Stake Amid Quarter-End Adjustments
Wellington Management Group LLP has reduced its stake in Home Depot by selling 1,950,265 shares during the second quarter. This move decreased the firm's position in the home improvement retailer by 20.2%, leaving it with 7,686,643 shares of HD stock.
The value of these shares is approximately $2.71 billion at the end of the most recent reporting period. Home Depot has a market capitalization of over $317 billion and operates large-format stores across the US, offering a wide range of products for DIY consumers, professional contractors, and businesses.
Multiple institutional investors have also made adjustments to their holdings in Home Depot during the quarter. Brighton Jones LLC increased its stake by 36.5%, Schnieders Capital Management LLC boosted its position by 14.1%, while Darwin Wealth Management LLC purchased new shares worth around $1.77 million.
