WestJet Soars with 13 New Destinations Across Canada and Europe

WestJet has announced a significant expansion of its route network with 13 new destinations across Canada and Europe. The carrier will operate flights to Copenhagen, Lisbon, and Madrid from Halifax Stanfield Airport in Nova Scotia, starting from May this year.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 narrowbody twinjets will be used for these European routes, with frequencies ranging from four to five flights per week.

WestJet has also added new destinations from Toronto Pearson International Airport, including Cardiff, Glasgow, and Ponta Delgada. In addition, the carrier now flies from Montreal Trudeau Airport to Cozumel and Mazatlan in Mexico, operated by Sunwing's 737s on WestJet's behalf.

From Calgary International Airport, WestJet has added domestic routes to North Bay and Saulte Ste. Marie, as well as international flights to Guadalajara and Mazatlan in Mexico.
