Williams Earns Milestone Win as McDonald Blue Devils Rout Western Reserve
McDonald High School's Blue Devils defeated Western Reserve High School's Blue Devils by a score of 38-8 on Friday night, marking head coach Dan Williams' milestone 200th career win.
The game started with a bang as Josh Krumpak returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, helping McDonald explode for 32 points in the first quarter alone.
Dom Sampson added two rushing touchdowns to the scoreboard during this high-scoring quarter, while Quinn Schmidt scored both on a rush and through a Matthew Domitrovich pass. The Blue Devils ended the quarter with a commanding lead of 32-0, which they maintained through halftime.
McDonald continued to dominate in the second half, adding another score when Schmidt rushed for his second touchdown. The final score was 38-8 in favor of McDonald.
