Windows 11 Context Menus Get Major Overhaul
Microsoft is revamping its Windows 11 context menus, aiming to make them faster and more customizable. The new features have been discovered in the latest preview builds, allowing users to configure the layout and actions within the menu.
The customization options include toggling off actions like 'Send to' or 'Create shortcut', which can speed up the context menu for users who don't often use these features. Users will also be able to restore the primary actions, such as cut, copy, and paste, to their original vertical layout in Windows 10.
By default, most actions are disabled automatically, making the context menu fast for users without needing customization. However, those who want more control can head into the settings app to add back any useful actions.
