Windows 11 Customization Options Roll Out in Experimental Channel

Microsoft is rolling out significant customization features for Windows 11 users in the Experimental channel. The new suite of options allows users to tailor the Start menu and Taskbar to their preferences, addressing long-standing community feedback.

The updates include dedicated menu scaling controls, allowing users to select from Automatic, Small, or Large views. This feature is particularly useful for laptop users who feel the original Start menu takes up too much vertical space, as well as those with ultra-high-resolution monitors who need more room to navigate.

In addition to scaling, Microsoft has introduced a cleaner layout for the Start menu, including precise row-by-row controls and granular toggles. This allows users to show or hide specific sections, such as pinned apps, recent files, and all apps list, giving them greater control over their workspace.
