Microsoft has been working on various improvements for Windows 11 in recent weeks. One notable change is the updated version of Windows Search, which can now automatically find and search other folder locations based on user activity. This feature uses signals such as files and frequently accessed locations to make relevant files easy to find without manual indexing.

Another improvement is the Phone Link companion flyout, which has been updated to allow users to preview recent messages or notifications in the Start menu. This requires the Phone Link app version 1.26021.3.0 or higher.

File Explorer also received a performance boost, with faster file deletion and improved Home page speed. Additionally, the 'Recommended' section now supports touch scrolling for easier browsing of files from the carousel.
