Windows 11 Memory-Efficiency Goals Hinder by Razer Software Bloat

A Redditor recently highlighted the memory-guzzling issue of third-party apps on Windows 11, specifically Razer software that consumed up to 2GB of system RAM.

The user, 'MrAmbiG', encountered a problem with his Razer products' lighting effects, requiring the combination of Synapse and Chroma software. After installing OpenRGB, an open-source lighting controller, he still had issues getting it to run, leading him to disable every Razer program in Windows 11's services.

The user finally achieved the desired RGB setup using OpenRGB, but noted that it would immediately shut down. This experience raises concerns about Microsoft's efforts to make Windows 11 more memory-efficient and the impact of third-party app optimization on system performance.
