Windows 11 September Update: Key Customization Options Now Available

Microsoft's latest update for Windows 11 brings much-needed customization options to users. One of the most significant changes is the ability to move the Taskbar to the top of the screen, a feature that was previously only available on the bottom. This can be done by opening Settings, clicking on Personalization, and selecting the new 'Taskbar position' setting.

In addition to repositioning the Taskbar, users can also adjust its size and disable web results from Windows Search. To do this, open Settings and click on Privacy & security. From there, toggle off the Web Searches switch to prevent Bing results from appearing in searches.

The September update also introduces several usability improvements for Windows Search, including a simplified home experience and clearer search results. Users will be able to automatically index frequently used folders, making it easier to find files in those locations.

Microsoft is gradually rolling out these features, so users may not see them immediately after installing the update. However, having more control over their desktop can make the Windows 11 experience feel much more personalized and efficient.
