Windows 11 Update Breaks Mouse Cursor for Thousands of Users

Microsoft has acknowledged and confirmed two major issues affecting Windows 11 users after installing recent updates. The first issue is related to the mouse cursor, which can disappear, appear broken, or lose customization. The second issue affects Office apps on ARM-based PCs, causing them to crash.

The cursor problem seems to be more widespread than initially thought, with reports suggesting it's not limited to non-English language installations. In fact, users who have installed a secondary language or added a keyboard layout may also experience the issue. The bug is caused by code components used in non-English Windows installations, which fail to load personalization settings.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has yet to confirm reports of a third issue: wallpapers resetting on every restart. However, several users have shared their experiences with missing or reset backgrounds after installing the recent update.
