Windows 11 Update Brings Minor Enhancements to Microsoft Teams
Microsoft has released a new update for Windows 11, which includes three minor features aimed at improving the user experience. The update is described as a 'scoped, cumulative release' by John Cable, Microsoft's VP of Windows Servicing and Delivery.
The new features mainly affect Microsoft Teams, which is now integrated into the Chat app on the taskbar. This allows users to communicate with friends, family, and colleagues in a more compact window.
One of the key changes is that you can now send and receive texts within the Microsoft Teams app, without needing to use the 'Your Phone' app to link your Android device to your PC.
The update also includes a new 'People' experience, which allows users to migrate their contacts to the Teams app. This feature syncs with Outlook and Skype contacts, making it easy to connect with others.
