Windows 11 Users Unimpressed by Microsoft's Promised Improvements
Microsoft's efforts to improve Windows 11 have fallen short according to a recent survey by TechPowerUp. Over 33,000 users participated in the poll, with nearly half (44%) saying they haven't noticed any real changes since the OS was released.
What's even more concerning is that only slightly fewer respondents (38%) believe Windows 11 has actually gotten worse. This is despite Microsoft's promise to improve the operating system.
Only a small minority (12%) of those surveyed felt that things have truly improved, and it's worth noting that this coincides with Linux gaining traction among gamers thanks to Valve's Proton.
