Wyndham Teams with Google on AI-Powered Hotel Booking Experience
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Google to launch an AI-powered hotel booking experience in Search, making it one of the first companies to adopt this technology. This move is part of Wyndham's efforts to digitize its growth strategy and tap into emerging markets such as India. The partnership was showcased at the BW Hotelier Indian Hospitality Summit & Awards 2026, where Wyndham presented itself as a Platinum Hospitality Partner.
The AI-powered booking tools and Wyndham Connect platform are key components of this strategy. These initiatives aim to increase direct bookings, lower distribution costs, and improve franchisee economics. However, investors should be aware that the technology investment may not necessarily lead to enhanced profitability, at least in the short term.
Wyndham's forecast for 2029 suggests a revenue growth rate of 5.7% per year, reaching $1.7 billion. Earnings are expected to increase by $253.2 million, from $193 million today, to $446.2 million by 2029. This implies a fair value estimate of $100.18, representing a 40% upside to the current price.
