Xbox Disc-to-Digital Preview Expands with Over 800 Supported Titles

Microsoft's Xbox Disc-to-Digital feature is a new way for players to connect their physical game discs to a digital license. This feature, currently in preview, allows eligible Xbox One and Xbox Series X games to be converted into digital entitlements.

The feature was announced by Microsoft, with the company stating that most disc-based Xbox One and Xbox Series X games are intended to work, including thousands of titles. However, not every game is supported, and compatibility may be tied to specific editions, console generations, regions, or product listings.

To use Disc-to-Digital, a player must insert their physical game disc into an Xbox One or Xbox Series X console and launch the game. Once claimed, the digital entitlement can provide normal benefits across supported Xbox devices and services, including access to Xbox Play Anywhere and cloud gaming where available.
