Xbox Disc-to-Digital Tool Revives Delisted Games
Microsoft's Xbox Disc-to-Digital feature has been gaining attention for its ability to digitize physical game discs, but recent testing by Insiders has revealed an unexpected benefit: it works with delisted games too. The feature allows users to insert a disc into their Xbox console and add a digitally playable version of the game to their account.
In the first 24 hours since its launch on August 31, many Insiders have reported success in playing previously delisted titles using the Disc-to-Digital tool. These include Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and Dead Rising 3, which was previously unplayable digitally.
The program's functionality is still unclear, with Microsoft yet to confirm whether this behavior is intentional or not. However, users have reported success with various games, including music titles such as Avicii Invector and Let's Sing franchise games.
