Xbox Gives Away Five Free Open-World Games This Weekend
Microsoft's Xbox platform is offering five free open-world games to its users as part of its ongoing Free Play Days promotion. The titles, which include Far Cry 6, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull and Bones, and The Crew Motorfest, can be downloaded and played by all Xbox users, including those without an active Xbox Game Pass membership.
The free access is available from October 1 to October 4, giving players a weekend to explore the vast virtual landscapes of these games. Each title features extensive, multi-hour campaigns, so players will need to make the most of this limited time.
According to Microsoft's promotion, users can claim and download any of the free titles by navigating to the Microsoft Store tab on their Xbox consoles, selecting the Subscriptions section, and scrolling down to the dedicated Free Play Days area. The games are available for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
