Yohanna Makes Brighton Debut in Pre-Season Win Over AS Roma
Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna made his debut for Brighton and Hove Albion in a pre-season friendly against AS Roma. The teenager entered the game from the bench, coming on to replace an unused player as Fabian Hürzeler's side secured a 3-0 victory at the American Express Stadium.
Yohanna signed a five-year contract with Brighton until June 2031, joining the Premier League club from AIK. The 19-year-old had made 18 appearances for AIK before his move to England, scoring five goals and providing four assists according to Brighton's official profile.
The teenager's rapid rise began at the Ikon Allah Football Academy in Nigeria before he moved to Sweden in 2025 to progress into AIK's senior setup. His debut gives Yohanna another platform to continue his development as he settles into life at the Premier League club.
