Young Entrepreneur Seamus Ruiz-Earle Sells Consulting Business for Seven Figures
Seamus Ruiz-Earle is an American entrepreneur and investor who has made a name for himself in the tech industry at a remarkably young age. Born on October 28, 1999, in San Jose, California, he started his career by cold-calling investment banks across San Francisco at just 17 years old.
The bank that finally took him seriously offered him a job setting up its Salesforce CRM system. Working with the platform while still an undergraduate at Boston College, Ruiz-Earle became the youngest known Trailhead Ranger and Trailblazer in Salesforce history by age 18.
After graduating from Boston College with dual degrees in History and Economics in 2020, Ruiz-Earle started his own consulting business, Carabiner Group, from his childhood bedroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. He bootstrapped the company to $7 million in revenue by 2022 without taking any outside capital.
In May 2024, at just 24 years old, Ruiz-Earle sold Carabiner Group to SBI, a go-to-market growth advisory, for a high seven-figure transaction. He stayed on as Managing Director of Revenue Operations and Technology, leading the division that was formerly Carabiner Group.
Ruiz-Earle has also founded Carabiner Capital, a private family office that acquires, builds, and invests in high-growth businesses across technology, software, and services. The firm is deliberately operator-led, pairing capital with hands-on work in go-to-market strategy, revenue operations, technology, and organizational scaling.
