YouTube Beats Rivals in Bid to Stream Coachella Through 2030
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has signed a new deal with YouTube to stream live for the next four years. The agreement will see Coachella select the Google-owned video site over rival bids from Netflix Inc. and Amazon.com Inc.
The live streams will include mini artist documentaries, additional programming, and more leading up to North America's largest music festival. This new deal is a significant move for YouTube, which has outbid its competitors in securing this major contract.
