YouTube Taps Amazon for Commissions on Product Tags
YouTube has introduced a new feature for eligible U.S. creators to tag Amazon products directly in their videos, allowing them to earn commissions without manually adding links. This integration simplifies product recommendations by linking creators to Amazon's vast catalog through YouTube's Shopping Affiliate Program.
The feature includes auto-tagging and allows creators to request product additions, with earnings tracked in YouTube Studio. Although currently limited to U.S. creators, tags are visible worldwide, potentially matching local merchants for international purchases.
