Zac Brown Band and Train to Headline 2027 American Express Concert Series
Grammy Award-winning bands Zac Brown Band and Train are set to headline the 2027 American Express Concert Series, as announced Tuesday. The performances will take place on Friday, Jan. 22, 2027, and Saturday, Jan. 23, 2027, following the conclusion of daily play at the PGA West driving range. This lineup continues the tournament's trend of featuring a country act and a pop/rock act, with Train returning after their 2024 headlining appearance.
Tickets for the 68th annual The American Express PGA Tour Golf Tournament, scheduled for Jan. 21-24, 2027, are now on sale. General admission prices range from $95 for Thursday and Sunday to $150 for Friday and Saturday, with the latter including concert access. Other ticket options include the Clubhouse ($155-$210 per day), Pete’s Place ($295-$320 per day), and Champions Club ($580-$655 per day). A $274 weekly pass offers access to all tournament play and public fan venues.
Both bands have a history of performing in the Coachella Valley. The Zac Brown Band, known for hits like "Chicken Fried" and "Toes," previously headlined the Stagecoach country music festival in 2013. Train, famous for songs like "Hey, Soul Sister" and "Drops of Jupiter," performed at the American Express in 2024 despite rainy weather. "Zac Brown Band and Train are iconic acts whose music has connected with millions of fans across generations," said Pat McCabe, tournament director of The American Express.
The Zac Brown Band will perform after the second round on Jan. 22, 2027, while Train will take the stage following the third round and the 54-hole cut on Jan. 23, 2027. Fans can purchase tickets at www.theamexgolf.com.
